A new app, ‘Track Your Impact’, lets donors follow their high-protein food bar contributions from production to delivery in disaster zones.
Launched ahead of Ramadan (likely starting March 1), the app transforms humanitarian aid by providing real-time updates.
How It Works
The platform uses a three-step tracking system:
- Production – QR codes are scanned when food bars are made.
- Transit – Updates are sent as shipments move.
- Delivery – Local partners scan QR codes and upload photos of distribution.
Developed by E2G FOOD (Eat-2-Grow) with SASI’s Dubai branch, the app has already helped deliver 30,000 food bars across the Middle East, Africa, and the U.S.
Pete Henderson, CEO of E2G FOOD, emphasized the app’s role in making donations transparent. He noted that for just Dh8 (less than a cup of coffee), users can make a real difference.
The app ensures accountability with real-time campaign updates and auditable records, giving confidence to individuals, NGOs, and corporate sponsors.
