UAE Bans Visas for Muslim Countries, Including Pakistan

Staff Report

The UAE has stopped issuing new visas for 13 Muslim-majority countries. These countries included Pakistan, Turkey, and Tunisia among some other countries. This commenced on November 18, 2020 that will continue until further notice.

The government has attributed it to security concerns. However, it has not given any other reason, The ban is applicable to tourist visas and new employment visas.

🇦🇫 Afghanistan
🇹🇷 Turkey
🇸🇴 Somalia
🇸🇾 Syria
🇱🇾 Libya
🇾🇪 Yemen
🇮🇶 Iraq
🇩🇿 Algeria
🇰🇪 Kenya
🇱🇧 Lebanon
