The “Fresh Up Your Life!” campaign has made a big splash in the UAE. It has introduced more people to fresh European fruits and vegetables—especially those from Italy.
European Union and CSO Italy have backed this the campaign that connected with 50 million people.
It boosted Italy’s reputation as a go-to source for top-quality produce. Italian agri-food exports to the UAE shot up by 8.4%, crossing €412 million by November 2023.
Elisa Macchi, Managing Director of CSO Italy, have given credit to events like Gulfood, which created key business connections and put Italian products in the spotlight.
The campaign didn’t just promote fresh produce but built stronger trade ties between Italy and the UAE.
And this is just the beginning. “Fresh Up Your Life!” has shown that great food had became source of cultural exchange, and strong partnerships, opening doors for European products worldwide.
